BREAKING NEWS:
HB 5002 is a Workers' Compensation Reform bill. It passed the Michigan House of Representative's House Commerce Committee on October 26, 2011 and has now been referred to the full house. MSIA supports the bill. Its two major purposes are: modernize the workers' compensation statute, which will be 100 years old next year; and, codify recent Supreme Court decisions.
